Iconography

Iconography is used in place of text or with text to emphasis an idea. Over time viewers learn to recognize icons and associate actions or ideas with them. For ChillerTV.com the use of simple flat iconography will not only ensure the readability of the icons, but the longevity of them as well.

By adding dust and dirt textures to simple iconography we are able to create a darker feel to the icons being used. In addition to adding texture a simple double drop shadow with light opacity adds a eerie effect which again reinforces the Chiller brand.
