When starting this project we knew that we would not be provided any assets from Universal Studios. I first researched other microsites for movies and found that the main concentration of these websites is promoting the movie trailer and selling tickets. With this being known we made sure to highlight those features on the homepage. In order to create assests to use I referenced the movie itself and took clips, cut out characters, and created custom assets such as the menu. Finally it was also very important to Universal Studios that this design can be templated and customized for any upcoming movie.
